Creating a Capsule Wardrobe-Wardrobe Makeover Part 1

Cloths, Cloths Everywhere and not a Stitch to Wear

By taking a little time to plan out a Capsule Wardrobe, you can save your self the hours of time you spent standing in front of your wardrobe saying in frustration "I have NOTHING to wear".

We've all been there, it usually comes about through unplanned impulse buying that has creates a wardrobe of disjointed and un-coordinated outfits.

Most times you wont even need to go and buy new item, or maybe it will just be updating a scarf of adding in that Classic Jacket that your missing.

Spending the time to bring together a capsule collection will feel like a load taken off your shoulders and a renewed sense that you know exactly what your going to wear for the week.

So lets start. This collection is aimed at a working women, 40+, classic taste. Your personal Taste and day to day activities will guide you Capsule, but this will give you the concept.

By changing some of the pieces you can adjust to suit your Capsule needs. Maybe you will change the pant to a quality Jean, the heel to a smart Boot, add in a white shirt?
You can see how easy it is to maximise the number of outfits.

Starting with the Trousers you can create 11 outfits.

The beige cardigan is not my style, so to personalise for me, I would swap it for a lightweight neutral coloured Trench coat.

By adding a second pair of trousers or even a jean, your number of looks increases and it also covers the weekends.

You can achieve the same 11 outfits with the skirt. Adding in a fashion Clutch can take it to those after work dinners.

It really is quite simple to take the stress out of what to wear.
